The Summit Residence accommodates a maximum of eight guests, including children. All parking must be ON PROPERTY; On-street parking is absolutely forbidden. Three of the bedrooms upstairs have a bathroom including a shower and on-suite bathtub. One of the bedrooms upstairs shares a bathroom downstairs that is shared with the downstairs bedroom. There is an additional half bath upstairs, and there is a fifth full bath location in the pool room which includes a shower.

Aloha and welcome to the summit Residence at Kaanapali Vista. As with any Resort or Hotel, there are: Policies and regulations that are required of all Guests’. Please acknowledge the following list of Policies, Rules and regulations for the summit Residence at Kaanapali Vista:
1) The Summit Residence accommodates a maximum of eight guests, including children. 2) PARKING POLICIES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED BY COUNTY REGULATION. ALL vehicles shall be parked in the driveway ONLY. There is ample parking for six vehicles or more. On-street parking is strictly prohibited at ALL TIMES. 3) Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM, till 8:00 AM, seven days a week. During these times, noise levels shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area. Outside sound systems should not exceed “HALF” levels past 9:00 PM. This policy is strictly enforced. 4) Amplified sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries of the short- term rental home is prohibited. 5) No parties or group gatherings other than registered guests shall occur. 6) Suntan lotions should be thoroughly washed before sitting on furnishings. 7) There is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Swim at your own risk. 8) Running and “horse-play” is absolutely forbidden around the pool area(s). 9) SMOKING AREA is allowed in one area ONLY. Smoking is allowed in the chaise lounges at the outer edge of the pool area, and there is a sign designating this area. The pool was beautiful and the opposite side of the house had a deck that overlooked a beautiful golf course, a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee! Some of the small details stood out. This is a great location. Walkable to beach. So much to do and this place prepares you. Beach chairs, umbrella and totes to get you to where you need to be. The pool was perfect. Everything is self-explanatory and if it isn't, it's in the house book. My family is already voted to return to this property. It just filled all the needs and wants.

Our family had an absolute blast at this house! We had 3 generations on the trip including 80 year old parents and their adult grand children. The house is very spacious with so many nooks and crannies to find privacy and enjoy the beautiful spaces both inside and out. The decor is a blend of Hawaiiana and personal touches which make the home feel welcoming and engaging. The pool was a game changer! We hardly left the house during our 9 day stay. The pool is large and nicely appointed with loungers and custom Honu artwork. There is a hot tub as well as an outdoor workout space and a poolside bathroom and shower which were so convenient.The 5 bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms afforded privacy, comfort and room to spread out. There are several gathering spaces including a media/game space downstairs and a large living/entertaining area on the main level. The house boasts views of Kaanapali, the golf course and the ocean from many vantage points with mature, beautiful grounds & lush vegetation. The property management company is very responsive, informative & accommodating and addressed all questions and needs as they arose.Our parents owned a home on Maui for 28 years and recently sold. We were sad to see the family home go, but so happy to find a new space to create family vacation memories. I can't recommend this home enough, it will be very hard to stay anywhere else when visiting the Valley Isle!

It was such a great vacation. The amenities of the house were better than most that we’ve ever stayed at. It made it really easy to cook ourselves and with 10 people it didn’t feel crowded whatsoever. The pool was great to relax in and it was really close to one of the best beaches in Maui. Also, the check-in process was quite amazing with having someone meet us there and walking us through the entire house.

We had an amazing stay at Ka’anapali Vista with our family. The check-in process was easy—the people from Maui Life Realty were kind enough to meet us there and show us around. The house is beautiful, with a stocked kitchen and lots of great areas to gather—especially outside on the deck and at the pool. All the bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, soap, and plenty of towels. There were beach towels and chairs to take to the beach. There were charging stations at the bedside, and many other very thoughtful touches. Scott and his team (Zenobe took great care of us) were very responsive and helpful. When we had trouble with the washing machine, rather than having us deal with a repair issue, they just replaced it with a brand new one within a few hours. The location is fabulous, just across the road from Whaler’s Village and all the Ka’anapali resorts. The beach there is fabulous, and there was a spectacular sunset virtually every evening. In summary, we couldn’t have had a better stay at the Ka’anapali Vista home, and we hope to be back soon! Many thanks to the team at Maui Life for making our stay so very memorable! Aloha and Mahalo!

The accommodations at the house were very good for our family of 8 persons. The pool and pool table were a hit with the kids. We loved having breakfast on the back lanai where we could watch players on the sixth hole of the golf course. There was a grille outside and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Towels and other equipment were available for the beach. The house is in a good location for dining and grocery shopping. Everyone loved it!

I have only a wonderful things to say about this spectacular home. This was a family vacation that had been canceled last year due to the devastating fire in Lahaina. It was a first trip to Hawaii for myself and my husband, and we chose to take our entire family with us. We had six adults total and one baby 10 months old. There was a pack and play and a highchair for our little one and all the beds were comfortable and cozy for everyone else. The home was completely stacked with everything we could possibly need. The communication with the home manager was stellar. Any questions we had were promptly answered, and we felt very well taken care of. The home was stocked with spices, basic condiments in the refrigerator laundry soap in the laundry room bathrooms were stocked with everything that we needed. We grilled steaks on the barbecue on the back patio for dinner one night and cooked several other meals at the home. It was very close to Whalers village and local beaches I would definitely come back and stay at the SUMMITT residence.

This was a multigenerational family vacation with grandparents, parents and grandchildren (9 in total). The house was perfect. We wanted to ensure we had a big enough home for everyone to have their own space while at the same time large common areas where we could gather for meals and fun. We took advantage of everything Summit house has to offer – the pool, the workout area, the games room on the bottom floor, the well stocked, large kitchen, walking to the beach.…we had a fabulous time. Maui Life (Property manager) was excellent. Very responsive to any of our questions. We definitely would stay here again. Mahalo

We were looking for a house that could accommodate 5 couples, with great outdoor space and within walking distance to the beach and shopping/restaurants. The Summit Residence did not disappoint! The house was clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Lower level game room was nice and having a second full size fridge was awesome for storing drinks or overflow. We used the grill multiple times. The lanai and pool were perfect. Used daily! Plenty of extras included with the house. Toiletries, laundry soap and kitchen supplies for food prep and storage. Overall nothing but positive comments about the house and our stay. We would definitely stay there again!

As stated by my 8 year old grandson “You know what this place needs? Absolutely nothing!” Which sums it up perfectly. We had 10 family members from 8-92 and we all agreed, there couldn’t have been a more perfect place for us. So many amenities, Scott and his crew thought of everything! From the bedding to the cooking pans, everything is high end. If you’re considering booking this home just do it!! Mahalo Scott for everything!

We stayed here as one of 4 couples and had an AMAZING time. We stayed in the basement bedroom by the pool room and it was so dark and secluded it was so nice in that respect. The pool is beautiful and was the perfect temperature for our stay. The 5th bedroom that we didn't use was off one of the living rooms and seems like it would be good for a kid or single adult but not preferred by a couple. We would absolutely stay here again for the management, amenities and location. Amazing stay and absolutely recommend!

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at the Summit Residence. Steve was very accommodating from the start, allowing us to check-in worry-free after a long day of travelling. The beautiful home and property were clean and well-appointed, providing everything to ensure a comfortable stay. The layout of the house is perfect for gatherings, as well as the ability to retreat if you wanted a little bit of quiet time or space to yourself. We had four children ranging from 1-8 years old and we had everything we needed to ensure a fun time for the kids (e.g. awesome pool/hot tub and green space) and a stress-free stay for the adults. The property is perfectly situated, with a short (less than 10 minute) walk to Ka'anapali Beach / resort area, but setback far enough from busier areas and roads to ensure quiet nights. Within a five minute drive from the property you will find most other amenities (e.g. grocery stores, shops, restaurants, etc.). The beach and water amenities provided at the home (beach chairs, boogie boards, etc.) made it very convenient to pack up and go for a day of exploring around the island. Steve was extremely helpful and attentive and even went well beyond the call of duty in taking time out of his day to help us with a car battery issue on the last day of our stay. We had a great time at Steve's property and would definitely recommend a stay to our friends. We look forward to a return trip very soon!! Mahalo Steve!!

Steve was great to communicate with he made sure we had a great experience for Super Bowl.. the home was absolutely immaculate.. kitchen was nicely equipped and whole house was very nicely equipped it felt like we were at home!! The pool was great to have and golf course was really nice the view was great from just about every room!! The master bathroom is a must see !! It is the best equipped VRBO house I have stayed in. With 3 "chefs" in the family that's saying something. Everything you could possibly need was provided even down to yoga mats! We had an amazing visit to Maui and one of the highlights of the trip was this property. The river-rock bath tub, panoramic views, personal gym, hot tub, pool with swimming turtles (well they at least look real), pool table, foosball table and more large TVs than we could count and beach music throughout the home via Sonos. With 2 children under 6 we had some early nights and the house was a great place to enjoy the beauty of Maui from. It backs up to a par 3 which provided lots of entertainment while cooking in the gourmet kitchen. Having a personal pool was huge as our kiddos aren’t quite ready for the ocean. Instead we spent most mornings down at the beach in front of whalers village (after an Açaí bowl and coffe from Island Vintage) and the rest of the afternoon at the pool where our kids could enjoy the water more freely. Steve and Kyle were great and when we ran out of propane they had it replaced inside an hour! I cannot say enough about these people and their property and we will most definitely be back. Mahalo!

The pictures don’t do this place justice! We came here on a family retreat and didn’t want to leave. Each room in the house is spacious, clean with great views. If we could, we’d stay at the pool the entire time with the comfortable lawn chairs, hammock, and lounge areas. The place is also very close to the beach, nice restaurants and of course golfing. Steve was also very very responsive to any inquiry we had and was a joy to meet. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the place! Mahalo!

This property is everything we wanted and needed. We had three generations of our family under one roof, and there was plenty of space for spending time together and grabbing some private moments as well. The kitchen was equipped with everything a cook could ask for. We ate many meals at home on decks overlooking the pool or the golf course. The pool had rafts and other floating devices. There were more beach towels, boogie boards, surfboards, beach chairs, and coolers than we needed. There were several beautiful beaches nearby with good snorkeling opportunities for families. Indoors and outdoors everything was clean and simply lovely. Barry met us on our arrival and answered any questions we had. He also checked in with us during our stay. So nice! We have been renting homes from vrbo for nine years. This is the best one yet! We were so sorry to see our vacation in this spectacular home end.

Where to start... The views, the location, the amenities (that master bath!), the home itself, everything about this place was wonderful! Every morning we had coffee on the back patio overlooking the golf course, and each evening we watched the sunset from the patio overlooking the pool, and ocean. There are multiple beaches and grocery stores nearby and the home was equipped with everything you need to cook a fabulous meal or pack a beach picnic, down to (very nice) beach bags. We had 3 couples, and two singles (8 people total) and the accommodations worked perfectly with 4 bedrooms with king beds and a pullout sofa bed. Steven and Barry were super friendly and checked in a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed. A+++ all around, next time we're back in Maui, we will 100% be staying here again! Aloha 🌺

A wonderful week with three generation family vacation. The Summit Home is everything and more from the pictures and reviews. We took advantage of it all, working out with exercise equipment, billiard pool competition, golf, beach walking. swimming, snorkeling, hiking grilling out and just hanging out around the pool. Steven and Barry were most helpful and gave us great recommendations on restaurants, beaches, snorkeling and hiking. The time just pasted too quickly.

Our mouths were open as we got our initial tour of the premises. So spacious and well appointed. All bedrooms were spaced out for privacy. Plenty of places to gather.....pool area, back deck, downstairs game room, living room, large kitchen area. The back of the house backs up to a golf course (pit stop while playing a round!) and the front offers views of the ocean beyond the hotels of Ka’anapali. Very close to lovely restaurants in whalers village. Workout room was a great offering for those who wanted to control vacation eating and drinking. Many items were included to make our beach trips more enjoyable....coolers, chairs, towels, boogie boards, etc. The management team was awesome......friendly, helpful, available. Highly recommend!

Our three-generation group had a fabulous time at Summit Residence. Everything the other reviews say is true -- stunning views; exceptional convenience to shops, beaches, and restaurants; complete privacy; and meticulous maintenance. We have rented a number of luxury properties, and this one surpasses them all with its amazing art works and antiques, the Sonos music system, and the thoughtful little touches that Steven provided (toiletries and laundry soap and spices! Yay!). I can't say enough good things about this fantastic property and the level of service that Honua Kai offers.

I can not say enough great things about this house and our stay. Steve, Barry, and Thomas were more than helpful with anything we asked. The house is great for families with any age kids or just adults. From the downstairs game room with 2 big TVs, an Xbox, pool and foosball table to the pool, hot tub, and weight room. Plus....it is secluded enough but minutes from grocery stores and Whalers Village for shopping or eating. And if you love to golf you are right on the golf course. We loved staying at this property. The house is lovely and spacious. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and work out equipment. There was lots of space for our family of 8. We walked to Kaanapali Beach and found the location fantastic. We cooked many meals and enjoyed many special moments sitting outdoors looking at the view. Stayed here for New Years week. House is very spacious and well layout out. Located on the golf course so you see golfers playing threw but only from the back side porch area. Management company contacted us a number of times to ask if we needed anything and if all was ok-- who does that anymore? There is absolutely nothing that was not perfect about this home. My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights with three other couples and all eight of us give this place a 5 star rating! Here are some of our favorite features (though there were many more): 1.) the Sonos speakers in every room including the pool area and all bathrooms 2.) the icemaker downstairs and the mobile wooden ice chest by the pool 3.) all the floaties, patio furniture and ample towels 4.) each room had very nice televisions and overhead fans and two of the showers were enormous 5.) the kitchen was perfect for entertaining 6.) oh my god the pool - unreal 7.) the pool lanai was so relaxing 8.) the patio along the golf course was breathtaking 9.) the gym looked fabulous though we weren’t in the workout vibe 10.) the outdoor rock bathtub off one of the master suites was so relaxing and breathtaking it was like being at a real spa in the backyard. The service was also top notch - Thomas was extremely attentive and did a great job making us all feel welcome and at home. We truly believe this place cannot be beat! Thank you so very much to Steve as well for allowing us to rent out your beautiful home this week. This isn’t the last you will see of this group!

Our group of 7 family members and friends stayed at this lovely home for 9 days in February. It was absolutely perfect for us. The house is beautifully appointed yet maintains a laid-back vibe. There are so many thoughtful touches, from buttery soft linens to beach chairs and boogie boards, to a commercial-grade ice machine. Great art - we loved all the statues scattered about the house and property. There is TONS of closet space and nice comfy beds. The double showers in the master and downstairs off the billiard room were awesome. All the bedrooms felt very private. Although the house is a quick (10 minute) walk to the Kaanapali beach and hotel strip, we actually found it hard to tear ourselves away from our fabulous pool and lanai. We spent long hours floating, mixing up cocktails, and listening to music on the great sound system. We cooked almost every night in the spacious kitchen, which provided just about everything we needed, and almost always ended the night playing pool in the billiard room. We even shocked ourselves by taking advantage of the workout room by the pool, which actually has really decent equipment. When a major snow storm at home threatened to cancel our departing flights, Steven offered us a generous discount on an extra night, which we took him up on. Such a nice guy! We felt very well taken care of while there, and have all agreed we will find a way to come back next year (hopefully for longer next time). In the meantime, I recommend this place 100 percent. Don't hesitate. It's very special.

We have stayed in 90-100 vacation rental homes over the past 20 years. Summit is, by far, the very best. And not just because of the location and awesome features; all of which it has. Where it goes beyond is the personal touches and the details. There were board games, there was beach equipment. There were more than enough toilet paper rolls, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, spices in the cabinets, laundry detergent, jumbo sized bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash (I cannot tell you how many times I have had to go out to the store for these basics *multiple times* in the past at other rentals, which is super annoying.) Plus: comfy beds, high end pool furniture, even makeup wipes in the bathroom. He has literally thought of everything!! Order your groceries ahead of time & you’re good to go. Basically just show up with your swimsuit. There was plenty of space for our family of 10 plus 2 babysitters. None of us ever felt remotely cramped or on top of each other. There were 2 fridges and an ice maker (hello! We have one at home too and have never seen one before in a rental...and just think of how much ice a family of 10 uses in Maui!) We were just spoiled rotten!! And: There was a problem with the AC when we arrived, which is no one’s fault- and if you’re familiar with how things work on the islands, you can’t get things fixed overnight, but here’s where our experience went from wonderful to amazing: the caretaker showed up immediately before we even arrived with ample fans for all over the house; and then the owner of the house showed up and PERSONALLY fixed the air conditioning for us the next day...simply because our comfort was important to him, we didn’t have to wait days on end. He also gave us a price break for the inconvenience. AND came over to blow up inflatable pool toys for our kids. Who does all that?!? Seriously, we have never ever had this kind of experience with a rental property before. Steven is a customer service expert, as far as we’re concerned. The personal touch makes ALL the difference!!! We felt so cared for. The entire vibe of the place is to just enjoy yourself and relax...abundantly and continuously. The meditation area off the master bathroom is nothing less than stunningly beautiful and serene. I actually feel as if referring to Steven’s place as a “rental” does it a disservice- it feels as if you’re staying in your good friend’s home. We will be back for sure, no question. Mahalo Steven!!!

Our incredible stay started with thoughtful welcome gifts and exploring this beautiful residence, which was decorated exquisitely and updated with many modern touches. Every part of our trip was memorable, but the residence was our safe haven and made our trip come alive, allowing my family to experience so many special moments together. The residence is in the perfect location - in the heart of Maui, literally walking distance to the beach (Kaanapali resort). We'd have breakfast, jump into the stunning pool, grab the house's boogie boards and beach gear and head to the beach — 3 min away. We'd change, go for lunch at one of Whaler’s Village's many amazing restaurants, walk the boardwalk, people watch... it's all right there. The home is located in the center of every activity we wanted to do. At one point, two family members were out playing golf and called us from the sixth hole -- open the kitchen sliders, they said. We walked out onto the deck, and there they were, right on the tee! What a treat, to see the ocean view from one side of the home, and the gorgeous manicured lawns of a golf course from the other side. The residence was even more luxurious and well appointed than we were expecting. Any problem or concern that arose was addressed immediately by the very capable and kind owner, realtors and property manager. More importantly, the residence enabled the nine members of our family traveling from both coasts to vacation comfortably under one roof. We listened to the powerful Sonos sound system in every room. We laughed, sang karaoke, played pool, foosball and video games, dipped in the pool and relaxed in the hot tub. We celebrated a birthday and a 50th anniversary with the most important people in the world. We experienced the joy of family reunited in Paradise. We didn’t want a large party in a catering hall, nor did we want a cruise or a trip to Paris. We wanted our loved ones together, and we couldn't imagine having done it in a more incredible home.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Summit Residence at Kaanapali Vista. We have 5 couples celebrating a 45th and a 50th birthday. It was the first time I've stayed on Maui that I have not been in a condo on the beach. We were not disappointed. I don't know if I could go back. The personal space, pool, extras in the home made this feel like we were at home - yet on vacation! This place could not be set up better form the stocked kitchen supplies, to everything you need for the beach, location is perfect - and many times our group walked down to Black Rock - less than a mile! It was another great stay on Maui!

We visited with 3 other couples and had a fabulous time! There was plenty of room for everyone since the bedrooms were all spaced out well. If you like to wake up with the sun, pick the Blue Room. If you prefer to sleep in and not want any noise, choose the downstairs room since it is darker and quiet. I stayed in the Ka'anapali Vista room because I wanted to sit on my private lanai and sip coffee while looking at the ocean - PERFECT spot! The couple who chose Serenity used the soaking tub often and raved about it! The kitchen was well appointed and we cooked some gourmet meals (filet minion, fish tacos, kalbi ribs) but we were also close enough to walk down to the fantastic restaurants on Ka'anapali beach. We spent a lot of time by the pool and almost every evening in the hot tub. The early risers in our group worked out poolside every morning. Our guys had a lot of fun playing pool in the man-cave downstairs and all of us actually had a TON of fun singing karaoke! We didn't really use the DVD's, we just connected to the amazing sound system and used the microphones to sing along. It was great to be by the golf course and watch folks on that hole. The neighbors (and their lovely dogs) were super nice. We did run into a maintenance problem, but it was quickly attended to. Overall, our whole group highly recommends the Summit Residence! We hope to be back soon!

The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking supplies, chairs for the beach, towels for the beach, spacious bathrooms, and even detergent for washing clothing. A lot of thought went into making sure that the stay was a good experience. It felt like being at home away from home. I highly recommend this property if you're considering staying in Maui near Old Lahaina and you want one less thing to worry about. You won' t be disappointed!

The location was perfect for us, a very quick walk to the beach and Whalers Village in a quiet neighborhood. We went to Maui to celebrate the retirement of a family member and stayed at the amazing Summit Residence at Kaanapali Vista. We were there 12 days/11 nights and it was heavenly. Not only is the property fabulous, but everyone we dealt with was helpful and super nice. Barry, from MauiLife Realty communicated with us prior to our stay and Thomas took care of any issues during our stay (we didn’t really have any issues, but he made sure everything was going well for us). The owner, Steve sent us a nice welcoming email and they even left us a wonderful gift basket with all kinds of treats in it. They really just go the extra mile to make sure you feel welcome. As for the property, what can I say but “Wow”!! The entire family was so impressed. It’s just a really cool place to be. The pool and outdoor areas are heavenly (views of the ocean, Lanai and Molokai) and there is literally something for everyone. The property is right on the golf course and is a short walk or drive to the beach. There’s workout equipment, boogie and surfboards, pool table, foosball, great sound system, multiple decks, TVs and bars everywhere and beautiful bedrooms. My husband and I had the honor of staying in the Master (Serenity) Suite which was huge. The shower was amazing and right outside the shower was a very private, walled in outdoor spa/meditation area. Very zen. The kitchen and living areas are lovely and comfortable and there are beautiful and unique things everywhere you look. This is a very special place and you can tell that is was furnished with care and love of island life. Staying here was a real treat for our family and we hated to leave. My family had a wonderful stay at Summit Residence. We were a family of 8 adults and the home was just perfect for us. We all had plenty of room and lots of privacy. This was our first time in Maui and this was absolutely the perfect location... a quick walk to the beach and restaurants but away from the crowds in the hotel areas. We enjoyed every room and amenities that this home provided. The kitchen was well stocked and they provided all the beach toys that we needed (surf boards, towels and chairs). The property has a Hawaiian decor and 5 king sized beds to accommodate a group of adults. The house is on a hill providing lovely views of the ocean and the golf course but also requires stairs to enter and move from floor to game room. (Caution for mobility challenged). The house manager and owner are delightful. It’s a small thing but they provision the house with more than most...laundry detergent, foil, bags, paper towels, dish soaps, spices, condiments, bar supplies...plus and industrial size ice maker that is a must for large groups. Nice plus also...an Instapot, two coffee pots and a Vitamix! The game room is a nice house feature...good for gathering when the weather isn’t perfect. You can sit in the back and watch golfers go by or float in the pool or hot tub. The cost to rent this house is lower than nearby hotels...plus you don’t have to pay for parking, WIFI or resort fees. Its pretty easy to walk down to the resort and enjoy shops and restaurants of Whalers Village...the walk back up is a little bit harder. We enjoyed our stay and the amenities provided at this property.

Everything about our stay was better than expected -from the time we booked through waving goodbye to the prompt cleaning lady. The property managers and owner were so on top of everything, they were welcoming and generous with all the water toys and beach equipment, the house was fully stocked with everything from a full spice drawer to a Tommy Bahama outdoor cooler for the patio and commercial ice machine to fill it. There were multiple refrigerators and freezers which was great to keep enough food and drink on hand for our group. Traveling during a pandemic made having our own large pool, workout area, full kitchen and plenty of space a truly enjoyable vacation. Loved our stay, will definitely be back. Much Aloha!

We were greeted by Thomas who quickly showed us around and then left us to enjoy the yummy treats, explore and select our rooms and start relaxing. The weather was always changing and this beautiful home has everything we could ask for whether there were 50 mph winds, torrential rain or perfectly calm days in Paradise. The location was perfect for shopping, snorkeling, sunbathing dining out or staying in to cook and relax. We picked this home based on the number of bedrooms for our group as well as wanting a pool. The photos of the incredible views were also a big influence. From the beginning the owner and property managers were in communication with us, then again as our check in date approached. We declined any of the extra services they offered, but they can take care of any details in advance such as grocery shopping, massage, etc. Upon arriving we were greeted by the home owner and a property manager. They gave us a tour and showed us how to operate everything in the home. As the title of our review states, this home far exceeded our expectations. Every little detail is thought of. There is also everything you could possibly need for the pool, beach, etc. We enjoyed the house so much that we spent much more time there than we thought we would. We were in the pool every day and the amazing hot tub every night. This house does not disappoint! I highly recommend renting this home for your family or friends vacation in Maui!

The first we noticed right away was the view from the patio, which completely mesmerizing at sunset - with the sun going down over the ocean. The house was perfect for 10 of us, 4 adults and children ranging from 2 to 6. There was space to get together and play and ample space to retreat to your own room when needed. The pool was heated and we enjoyed swimming around most afternoons before dinner. The location can't be beat - 10-20 minute walk to Ka'anapali depending on where you are going. 10 minute drive to Lahaina. The hosts were on site to help us get settled and were in touch several times throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

This house is truly amazing. The pool is beautiful, hot tub, work out room.....we did not want to leave. It was immaculate and decorated in a cool Hawaiian vibe. My husband and I and our 3 daughters (late teens/20's) had a blast. The house is huge and definitely could have fit another family. This was our first time in Hawaii and we were unsure which area to stay in. We loved the pictures of the house but didn't know much about the location. It turns out the neighborhood is a few streets away from the shops, restaurants, hotels and beaches. We could walk into town, but we were also able to enjoy the feel of being in a house in a neighborhood. The property manager was waiting for us when we arrived and he even let in a grocery delivery service that we used so we would walk into a stocked refrigerator. He gave me his cell number to text him for any recommendations for restaurants, beaches, sites to see. There are surfboards, beach chairs and everything you could possibly need. I highly recommend staying in this little piece of heaven.

My friends and I had a great time staying at the Summit Residence! The whole process went very smoothly and we were able to enjoy the beautiful home to relax and make memories. Communication was very easy and open with the property manager and we felt so welcomed. They provided some great recommendations of places to check out during our visit. It was fantastic to have lots of common areas where we could gather but also space where we could spread out. We loved having access to the surfboards, beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler. Knowing we could borrow those things was so convenient and really made our vacation even more fun and stress free! It was amazing to know that even when we weren’t out exploring the island, we had a great place to come back to and cook a meal together, hang out by the pool, or play games. Eight family members (two generations) from 4 different states gathered to have a wonderful week together. This property is amazing. The kitchen is very well stocked and would be wonderful to cook in if we had chosen to! Very comfortable beds! Plenty of space to gather together or to be off on your own. Can't say enough about the pool that was all ours. We had a hard time ever leaving the house!! We were even able to see whales in the distance from the lanai! Wished we would have packed binoculars. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Kaanapali beach and Whaler's village. The return walk is a bit steep but the 60+ folks in the group managed nicely. So pleased to have beach chairs, boogy boards, surf boards, and a cooler for our use. The property is right on the golf course and the mowing crew started at 5:30 am each morning - at least we were up for sunrise!! Landscaping was superb. We had no need to contact the manager, but he was very personable when he stopped by and I'm sure he would be very responsive. The welcome gift basket and the fresh floral arrangements were a very nice touch! We could have stayed here forever. Hoping to return some day!

The best way to summarize our stay at the Summit Residence was Fantastic! Everything was as listed in the online information. The home is beautiful, excellent location just north of downtown Lahaina and away from the hustle and bustle of the area and only a 10min walk to the beach. Our family enjoyed many evenings sitting by the pool and watching the sunsets. The house has everything you could possibly want and more. We had nine people in our party and the house is large enough that all of us had plenty of room. Absolutely our best experience renting a house yet. You should have no hesitation about renting this location.

After grocery shopping, we really had no reason to leave as we had our own oasis. On the way to the house we received a call the AC in the bottom level was not working. They had already had fans running to keep it cool. They purchased two portable AC's and had them installed right away. We used the pool every day. The property manager and owner were very accessible. They wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to house a large number of people. It was perfect in every way!!

My husband and I rented this house with 4 other couples. Our ages were 53-81, all very young at heart. The management company was very responsive. When I was able to reach them the next day they came over and gave us the sheets we needed. The house was equipped with TP, paper towels, dish washing soap, laundry detergent, trash bags, shampoo, soaps etc all the essentials. A lot of VRBO homes you have to buy all of that. The best part of the house was the pool. It is a nice size pool and the stone turtles in it make it very decorative. We immensely enjoyed the pool area daily!!

We rented this beautiful home for a family trip for 8 adults and 2 small children. The management company was very responsive to inquiries prior to arrival and although we arrived very late in the evening, the check in process was smooth and the instructions for getting in and situated were very clear. The house was absolutely perfect for our group and we loved spending time on the lanai and at the pool. Great location near Kaanapali beach and Whalers village, which was easily walkable from the house. We particularly appreciated the availability of a pack and play, wagon and some beach toys for the kids. We look forward to the opportunity to return in the future!

This house was everything we wished for. Beautiful home on the Kaanapali golf course. The pool and hot tub were in use constantly by our group. House was well stocked and also had beach stuff including surf boards, boogie boards, chairs and sand toys. If we needed anything or had concerns we got very quick response. We want to come back!

The Summit is an amazing property with every detail well thought out from the artwork, furnishings, beach gear and stocked bathrooms to the wonderful welcome basket! Thomas couldn’t have made the check in and check out process any easier. The location can’t be beat with a short walk to the Whalers Village. It has the best stocked kitchen with any kitchen utensil a cook could possibly need. The soaking tub was phenomenal and all 5 couples in our party thoroughly enjoyed the pool and outdoor patio. When we come back to Maui, we will stay here again!

My 50th birthday gift to myself was to share one of mine and my husband’s favorites places with our parents, our children, and grandchildren. So it was our treat to bring them to Maui!! Due to the devastation on the island, our planned vacation was iffy as the resort we were staying at was cancelling reservations during our travel dates. Needless to say, I was losing hope and nearly cancelled our trip. One week before our travel date, I miraculously stumbled upon Summit Residence after weeks of searching for a place that would accommodate our family of 10 adults and infants. If this doesn’t make you believe in miracles and a reminder that what’s meant to be will always be, Summit Residence did!! Instead of splitting our family up into two villas, we were now all under one roof!! And what a treat it was! The house was absolutely perfect for our family. We loved spending time in the pool together, enjoying the hot tub while we watched the sunset, grilling on the lanai, and all the extras like the pack n’ plays, beach chairs, a fully equipped kitchen, and the fun game room! I learned how to play pool, and my 81 y/o father kicked all of our butts - talk about a pool shark! This home turned my frown upside down! I didn’t miss having to run down early in the morning to put our towels out on the lounge chairs! Steve and Thomas took excellent care of us. They only had one rule - “Have a great time!” Turned out to be the best family vacation I could’ve ever imagined!!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Summit Residence and are already planning when we can book it again. The house is absolutely stunning and so spacious. We loved having the pool and hot tub after a day at the beach, the kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals, and it's walking distance (or a 2 min drive) to the beach or the hotels nearby if you want a meal out. Thomas was such an excellent property manager and gave us some great recommendations like going to the local fish market to get fresh fish which we bbq'd at the house for tacos. I honestly have nothing negative to say and part of me wants to keep the house a secret so it's not booked up the next time we go back. Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect and we can't wait to visit again!

The house had five bedrooms which accommodated my group very well. views of the ocean were great and a short walk to the beach. We ate in- all meals and the kitchen was large enough to handle all the chefs! Very nice vacation.

It was a great place to relax and unwind. The pool seemed to be heated. A cooler temperature would have been better but we still enjoyed it. Overall it was a great stay and Scott and his team made sure we were taken cared of and they were ready to assist if needed. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for hotel amenities with your own private use at a reasonable cost.

We just completed one of the best family gatherings we have ever experienced. Our family included grandparents, parents and children ranging in age from 6 to 11. There were 10 of us. The check in process was very smooth with Christian meeting us at the house and walking through the house to ensure we were aware of all its features. There was a delightful welcome basket awaiting us! We all enjoyed the pool, the golf course, the exercise room, the foosball machine and the beautiful view. It was in a great location! I recommend it highly and would definitely go back

The Summit house was just what we needed for our family of ten. Ample room for all. Communication excellent for all our needs. The welcome basket was a special treat. Wish we could live together there forever! There is no way we could have been soo comfortable renting separate condos. Game room and weight rooms were used by all and appreciated.

If you’re looking for a home to rent while visiting Maui this home has everything you will want. It’s very beautiful and comfortable. If you’re looking to cook while on vacation, this kitchen has everything you will need and more. Our family consisted of ten adults and with the five bedrooms it was perfect. The pool area was breathtaking. Scott and Thomas was there if we needed anything and made check in very simple. Hopefully we can return to Maui and we will definitely rent this house again if available.
